A pop-up gallery featuring a collection of photographs from the Queen’s reign caught the attention of shoppers in Windsor this week.
Windsor-based photographer Gill Aspel set up the temporary gallery in King Edward Court Shopping Centre on behalf of the Royal Borough to mark Her Majesty’s 90th birthday.
Since 2010 Gill has been the official photographer for the borough’s Visitor Management Team and has captured a range of snaps of the Queen during her royal engagements in the town.
The gallery, which first appeared on Friday featured a host of natural portrait photographs of the Queen taken during prestigious events such as The Order of the Garter ceremony at Windsor Castle.
Gill told the Express: “It’s been a real privilege to be asked to put this together and we’ve had lots of people saying how natural she looks.”
