The M4 has reopened westbound between junction J7 and J8 following a crash near Maidenhead.
The carriageway was blocked for an hour-and-a-half following a collision between a car and a motorcyclist this morning.
Police were called to the incident at 9.05am and both carriageways were briefly closed while an air ambulance arrived shortly between 10am.
Traffic was left at a complete standstill, causing long tailbacks.
The road was reopened shortly after 10.30am.
