“Diamond jewellery, including rings and broaches, are very much in demand and I will be offering best prices for the right pieces. Period jewellery from 1930 to 1950 is very popular and I have keen customers waiting for good examples, regardless of condition. People are often surprised how much their broken gold jewellery and watches can be worth.”
“I am also keen to purchase vintage wrist watches. The big names, Rolex, Cartier and Omega, are all selling well and this is a great time to cash in on these and similar items.”
Tim added: “The market for medals is also very good at the moment and some examples, especially from the First World War, are making higher prices than ever.”
Simon Schneider is highly trusted and widely acknowledged as an expert in 20th Century decorative antiques and also deals extensively in ceramics and antique silver.
“Tim and I are both keen to spend, spend, spend! Where Tim loves his diamonds, watches and medals, I am very keen to buy quality examples from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. Original Art Deco bronze figurines and jewellery from Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras are making fabulous money at the moment and I will happily pay the highest prices for quality items.”
“Silver tea sets, trays, trophies snuff boxes and similar items, are also in demand. As are good quality ceramics. Moorcroft, Royal Worcester, Shelley and Clarice Cliff are all selling well. Rare and unusual pieces of Moorcroft are highly prized and can be surprisingly valuable."
Simon added: “The interest in Chinese and oriental antiques is huge and all types of items are in strong demand including porcelain, lacquer work, bronzes and silver. Tim and I hope people will search their cupboards and bring long their unused and forgotten treasures.”
The dealers are looking forward to meeting as many people as possible and will be paying top cash prices. Simon said: “Tim and I will offer you top cash prices, with no commission, no fees or other deductions. The price we offer is the full amount you take home.”
Tim and Simon guarantee no queues and no appointments are necessary however the dealers are happy to do a home visit if anyone is unable to come along during the day or has something too large to bring in. F
