Police appeal for help finding missing elderly man from Sunningdale

Update (Monday): Police enquiries have now established a new sighting of Rizallah at about 1.30pm on Saturday in Bagshot Road, approximately one mile from where he went missing.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Stuart Brangwin said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Rizkallah's welfare, especially because he has Alzheimer's disease.

"We continue our searches however we would ask local residents to help us find Rizkallah by checking their properties, gardens, outbuildings and sheds.

"Anyone who has any information about Rizkallah's whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately. The easiest way to do this is by calling 101 and quoting reference 676 (10/3), or in an emergency please call 999."

Update (Sunday): Thames Valley Police has today issued a new photo of Mr Moussah, who is believed to be wearing the same dark jumper with stripes.

Inspector Chris Clayton-Brown said: “We are particularly concerned for Rizkallah’s welfare because he has Alzheimer’s disease.

“We are currently being assisted by Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue.

“We have received a lot of enquiries from members of the public offering to help search for Rizkallah. While not being able to directly help in our ongoing search we do ask you to help by checking your own properties, gardens and outbuildings and sharing the media appeal with the updated photo with friends and neighbours.

“If you do go out, please make sure you are suitably dressed for the conditions, with appropriate coats and footwear and that you are not on your own, you have with you a charged mobile phone and you have told at least one friend or family member where you are going.

Saturday: Police are appealing for help finding a missing elderly man with Alzheimer’s disease from Sunningdale.

Rizkallah Moussah, 82, was last seen in Rise Road at about 10.30am today.

He is described as 5ft 8ins, of medium build and has short, grey hair, and was last seen wearing a number of shirts, including one that has blue and red stripes.

He was also wearing jeans, green sandals, glasses and had hearing aids in both ears.

Mr Moussah can speak English and Arabic.
