A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital following a fight in Windsor this morning (Wednesday).
Police were called to Camm Avenue at 7.43am to reports of an altercation between two men.
One man was taken to Wexham Park Hospital for treatment and sustained injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
A 34-year-old man from Windsor has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 GBH with intent and is currently in police custody.
There are scene watches in place in Camm Avenue and Keeler Close, and officers are in the area making enquiries.
Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Nicola Hurdley, said: “I would like to reassure members of the public that this is not thought to have been a random attack.
“At this stage we believe it to be an incident involving two people who are known to each other.
“We are in the early stages of the investigation and are working to establish exactly what has happened, but one person has been arrested in connection with the investigation and is currently in custody.
“The incident happened in a very public place and I would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened who has not yet spoken to police.”
