Commuters from Windsor & Eton Riverside may face delays today after a fire near Vauxhall Station in London causes ‘major disruption’.
The fire was reported at 3am this morning outside the station and the station is partially closed to allow emergency services to deal with the fire.
South West Trains said: “Due to a fire next to the track at Vauxhall some lines are blocked.
“Train services running through this station may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.”
The London Waterloo to Windsor & Eton Riverside service will not run. A train shuttle is being arranged to run between Staines and Windsor.
