A man has been charged in connection with an incident in Windsor which resulted in a 28-year-old man being taken to hospital.
John Watson, 34, of Brookwood, Woking, in Surrey, was charged last night (Wednesday) with one count of kidnap – common law, one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and one count of Section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent.
He was arrested yesterday and remanded in custody and is due to appear at Slough Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday).
The charges are in relation to an incident in Camm Avenue in Windsor yesterday morning in which a 28-year-old man was assaulted. He was taken to Wexham Park Hospital but has since been discharged.
