A famous footballer and a top television soap star have given their support to a new fund raising glamour calendar featuring army wives.
Windsor mum Laurie O'Leary, 23 is one of the 12 wives who posed in sexy underwear for the calendar to raise money to help injured soldiers.
It is the second year they have done this.
When thinking of ways to publicise this year's calendar, Laurie remembered her old school pal Matt Lapinskas. Matt is an actor and joined the cast of EastEnders last year as Anthony Moon.
Then Laurie remembered that she recently bought a sunbed from a shop run by the wife of former premier league football star Rufus Brevett.
Matt and Rufus were both delighted when Laurie asked them to meet the calendar ladies and to support the enterprise. Last year's calendar raised £8,000 for two charities suporting the armed services.
Laurie said: "I remember Matt played Bill Sikes when the school did Oliver. I was in the chorus singing 'buy my strawberries'."
This year's calendar is available from www.forcesfoxes.com or www.theforcesstore.co.uk and costs £7.99.
