A review of the future of the skills centre at Windsor Boys' School is being carried out that could see the facility close.
Bosses at the school in Maidenhead Road say the centre will not be taking any pupils for the September 2012 term.
Headteacher Julian Clauson said there was a 'very high possibility' that it could close due to financial pressures on the cash-strapped school.
He added: "The future remains subject to a review by the school's governors, but it is no longer financially viable to provide in the way it has done successfully to this time.
"I am deeply concerned that there are members of the community who will be affected by this and my door is open to anyone wanting to share their concerns."
The skills centre in Vale Road teaches vocational courses to students who come from across the Royal Borough.
A formal announcement on the future is set to made next week.
