A demonstration planned by taxi drivers over Royal Borough plans to change a licensing policy looks set to take place on Thursday.
Organisers have contacted the Advertiser and the council to confirm the route they are expected to take through Windsor from 8.30am.
The borough has posted a message on its website warning of potential traffic delays and advising drivers to take alternative routes where possible.
Roads expected to be affected by the demonstration include:
Romney Lock Road (starting point)
Datchet Road
Thames Street
High Street
Sheet Street
Victoria Street
Charles Street
Goswell Road
Barry Avenue
River Street
Organisers say they plan to drive around the same route in a loop for up to two hours.
The demonstration is expected to be a repeat of a protest planned to take place in Maidenhead tomorrow.
The council is considering de-restricting the number of hackney carriage licenses it hands out and issuing five new licenses per month as of May 1.
In a statement it said it was 'disappointed' to hear the demonstration was due to go ahead.
A report on the proposals is due before the council's licensing panel on Monday.
