The number of burglaries in central Windsor in February this year was up on last year's figures, police have revealed.
The force said in its monthly review on its website that eight took place compared with only one in the same month last year.
Crime as a whole in central Windsor was down for the month as a whole, with 148 incidents taking place - down 41 from 2011.
Assaults dropped to 15 from 21, burglaries at business to two from 17, theft of motors to two from three and theft from motor vehicle to eight from 10.
