Three years of fundraising has ended with a smart new play frame in the playground of a popular village school.
The £12,000 needed was raised by the Parent Teacher Association at Kings Court First School in Ashbrook Road, Old Windsor.
One of the biggest fundraisers was the 'Phil the bag' recycling scheme that saw villagers donate unwanted textiles for recycling.
A big donation from the Schroder charity also helped make the dream of school business manager Ruth Lyles and PTA chairman Jess Stevens come true. Pupils themselves helped choose the equipment.
Supporters are asked to drop off textiles again at school on either Thursday, May 3 from 6pm to 8pm or on Friday, May 4 between 7.30am and 9.30am. Or call Sharon Wignall on 07775 826321 for personal collection. The latest fundraising is for a new multipurpose classroom.
