The battle to block plans to build 25,000 sq m of offices on the site of old Ranks Hovis MacDougall building in Alma Road, Windsor is approaching its final stage.
Neighbours living in and around Alma Road have fought the plan by St Congar Properties to build on the Imperial House site from the start.
But their case was rejected at a recent judicial review.
Their efforts hit another buffer on Tuesday when a final written appeal was also rejected by a judge, leaving one final chance - a spoken appeal that will be presented in the next few weeks.
More than 50 street parties are set to take place this weekend across the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.
An independent report into a Conservative councillor has found a breach of the Royal Borough’s code of conduct in a document seen by the Advertiser.
