Diamond Jubilee Pageant organisers confirmed today that the event will go ahead despite the adverse weather conditions.
But the main show car park which is on grass will not be open tonight because of the weather.
Visitors are encouraged to travel to the show by public transport – both Windsor stations being within easy reach of the ground.
The usual Windsor Town Council car parks will be open as usual, while extra ones have been opened while the pageant is running over the weekend.
Traffic marshalling will be in place to direct visitors to the car parks and to the showground.
Blue badge holders will be directed to car parking as close to the showground as possible. Any visitors who have pre-purchased car parking at the showground will be refunded at the box office on site on presentation of their car parking ticket.
The forecast for the next few days is more favourable and organisers are confident that the car parks will be back in use after this evening.
