A whole school turned red, white and blue as pupils celebrated an event they will remember all their lives.
Children from Upton House School, St Leonard's Road, Windsor dressed in patriotic colours, sang God Save the Queen and played Oranges and Lemons before one balloon for each child was released.
The school has a special relationship with the royal family as the Queen's grandchildren Beatrice and Eugenie both attended.
The Royal Borough's mayor Cllr Asghar Majeed paid a special visit to Upton House to share in the diamond jubilee celebrations on Friday.
