More angelic volunteers are needed for a Windsor safety scheme that helps vulnerable revellers in the town's night-time economy.
Organisers of the Street Angels initiative are calling volunteers to come forward to help patrol town centre streets and nightspots on Friday and Saturday nights.
Armed with lollipops and flip flops they have patrolled every Friday from 10pm to 3.30am since February trying to make the town a safer place and help party-goers.
Since it started in February angels in teams of three have helped 400 people and removed 54 dangerous items, such as broken glass bottles, from the streets.
Street Angels, each trained in conflict management, drugs and alcohol awareness training and first aid, patrol William Street, Goswell Hill, Peascod Street and Thames Street.
To volunteer call PCSO Bullock on 07816 848231 and to help with funding call Tom Hinds on 01753 858123.
