Police are after a man who conned thousands of pounds from a 79-year-old woman in Old Windsor for maintenance work that was never completed.
The victim was told by the conman that her regular handyman was away and told him she needed guttering done.
He initially charged £2,750 but kept asking for more until she paid him £7,500.
It happened between Wednesday, October 19, and Friday, October 21.
The man is white, 5ft 10ins, about 40 years old and of medium build.
He was wearing dark jogging bottoms and a dark t-shirt.
