Dedicated supporters of Windsor Parish Church were hard at work this week painting its doors and gates ready for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee weekend.
Andrew Panter, who is deputy Lieutenant of Berkshire and chairman of the town facelift committee teamed up with the church fundraising committee David Shaw and other friends to give the doors and gates a last minute lick of paint.
The repairs carried out to the tower are now complete and the flag is flying again. But there is still work to be done.
When the jubilee celebrations are finished the clock still has to be cleaned and another £8,000 needs to be raised.
You can make a donation using the envelopes in the church and collection boxes.
