Outdoor learning and activities will be a new experience for toddlers at a Windsor pre-school after volunteers gave their playground a makeover.
About 60 employees from Maidenhead telecommunications firm Genband UK spent the day at Bright Start Pre-school in Testwood Road on Friday.
They transformed the outdoor space creating a vegetable bed area and educational wildlife trail, while also putting in a range of other facilities to open up outdoor learning opportunities.
The renovated playground will give children aged up to four years old the chance to learn and develop their language and social skills in an outdoor environment.
Maidenhead Office Park based firm Genband UK carries out a community project to celebrate its purchase of Nortel's Carrier Voice Division in June 2010.
