Opportunist thieves helped themselves to golf clubs and even food from a freezer after breaking into sheds and garages in central Windsor.
Police said five outbuildings were ransacked in the Kings Road and St Leonard's Road area sometime overnight from Saturday to Sunday morning.
Thieves jumped over fences into back gardens before stealing various items.
Inspector Pete Dalton for Windsor said it was 'unusual' to have that amount stolen in one go and urged householders to watch out for thieves at night.
He said: "Lock your sheds and garages overnight and if people hear people popping over their fences at night - call police."
