Supporters of Windsor's hospice are invited to help staff take on the army this weekend.
Thames Hospicecare's 'best of British' summer fair on Saturday will include a memorable battle between hospice employees Michael Jones, Neil Clark and Jason Lloyd, and members of the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards.
The lads will need help against the army so visitors are welcome to join the hospice team at 1.30pm.
It is the 25th anniversary of the hospice in Hatch Lane, Windsor.
The fair will take place at Windsor Girls School in Imperial Road.
Attractions will include the British Airways Band, Datchet Morris Dancers and maypole dancing from pupils at Oakfield School in Windsor.
Entry between 11am and 3pm is just £2 for adults and children under the age of 16 are free.
There is plenty of free parking at the school.
More than 50 street parties are set to take place this weekend across the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.
An independent report into a Conservative councillor has found a breach of the Royal Borough’s code of conduct in a document seen by the Advertiser.
