The 107th Royal Windsor Rose and Horticultural Society show will welcome Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, when it takes place next weekend at St George's School at the castle.
The royal pair will be special guests at the show which runs from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, July 14 and boasts 100 competition classes, 40 Trade Stands, 12 events, shows and demonstrations.
As many as 2,000 visitors are expected and 30 cups and trophies are to be given away.
Chairman Andrew Try said: "Last year we were really pleased with an increase in new entrants to all categories. This year, I urge those who were too shy to enter last year to gird their loins, pick up their trowels, or dust down their mixing bowls and enter the show."
The show will have over 100 competitive classes for all ages and abilities in horticulture, cooking, flower arranging and crafts; along with children’s competitions for under eights and nine to 14 year olds. Prizes will be presented by the Constable and Governor of Windsor Castle, air marshal Ian Macfadyen CB OB
Tickets are £8 fee or £20 for a family of two adults and two children.
