Police and firefighters were called to the Windsor relief road after a crash involving two hearses on Thursday.
The incident took place at around 12.30pm on the northbound carriage. There was a further minor crash as drivers slowed down to see what was happening.
Firefighters from Windsor, Slough and Maidenhead were called to the scene at around 1pm to free a person but no cutting equipment was used.
One driver was taken to Wexham Park Hospital with minor injuries.
Traffic was halted for a short time before the road was cleared at 2.10pm.
