A 49-year-old man charged with contacting voluntary organisations saying he had abused or was abusing a young girl, appeared at court yesterday.
Martin Crowe, of the Manor Lodge Probation Hostel in Straight Road, Old Windsor, appeared for a hearing at Slough Magistrates' Court.
He faces one count of causing a nuisance to the public by contacting various voluntary organisations by phone, stating he had abused or was abusing a young girl - between January 1 and March 7 this year.
Crowe is also charged with contacting a child agency or charity when prohibited to by an anti-social behaviour order made on April 24, 2009.
He will appear for trial at Reading Crown Court on January 4 and remanded into police custody.
