Riverbank launch

You can get Nectar points with lots of things today.

Now the Royal Borough has come up with a nifty way of encouraging people to look after their streets. As part of its partnership with Nectar, the authority has launched a pilot scheme that will entitle people to collect 'points' by participating in its Adopt-a-Street schemes.

Last week Nectar's marketing director James Frost and Royal Borough cabinet member Cllr Christine Bateson met up with volunteers from the Borough’s Adopt-a-Street scheme in Old Windsor led by Brenda Pollock, to launch the scheme.

They chose a fantastic spot for it - on the village's riverbank where the air is like 'nectar'.
