A 24-year-old woman has pleaded not guilty to a charge of murdering her 11-month-old son.
Emma Wilson, of Paddock Close, Windsor, entered the plea in front of Judge Zoe Smith at Reading Crown Court today.
She spent almost a year on bail after her son Callum died at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford on March 20 last year - two days after being admitted.
Thames Valley Police charged her with murder on February 28 this year and she made her first appearance at Reading Crown Court on March 1.
At today's pre-trial review, Wilson, who was dressed in a sleeveless beige top and dark trousers, spoke twice - to confirm her name and state her 'not guilty' plea.
Her bail was renewed until November 12, when she will return to court for a further pre-trial hearing.
The full trial is not expected to begin until next year on Monday, January 7, and could last between five and six weeks.
