Rottweiler saved from bog by Digestive biscuits

A Rottweiler was last night rescued from a bog by two firefighter crews using a ramp and Digestive biscuits to lure him out.

The dog got stuck in deep, wet mud in Windsor Great Park while out on a walk with its owner just before 8.30pm.

Crews from Windsor and Slough were called to help the 'dog in a bog' and took about an hour to free him.

Crew manager Graham Hook said: "We made a little ramp for him to get out and lured him out with biscuits.

"He seemed to like the Digestives. When he got out he was interested in finishing the rest of the pack and was following me about."
