Celebrity doctor and childcare expert Dr Miriam Stoppard 'got down' with the mums and toddlers at Windsor's Daniel department store on Friday.
She was visiting the store in Peascod Street to promote a range of toys she has helped develop in partnership with the Galt company.
The toys are designed to encourage babies to think and communicate and there was only one way to demonstrate.
So Doctor Stoppard joined mums on play mats, as she showed them and their babies how to use toys such as the 'pullalong puppy' to help develop the toddlers' concentration and communication skills.
Doctor Stoppard said: “A parent is a child’s first teacher and playing with babies and toddlers is absolutely crucial to their early development.
"Every time a baby plays, it thinks. And every time it thinks it develops half a million brain connections."
