The annual fundraising Swimathon at Windsor Leisure Pool is set to make a bigger splash than ever this year.
Windsor Lions charity fundraising organisation runs the event.
It is looking for more teams than ever to take part in this year's Big Splash on Sunday, October 12 at the pool in Stovell Road.
More than 40 teams have already entered but there is room for 60.
Lion Mike Sells, the event organiser, said: “This really is a great opportunity for local organisations which need to raise funds to enter a swimming team and reap 100 per cent of the sponsorship money they attract.
"We have just held a brilliant Great Park Horseride – now we are aiming for a fantastic Big Splash."
Over the years the event has raised almost £125,000 for good causes.
Teams of up to eight swimmers swim in rotation for 55 minutes and raise their money through sponsorship.
