The switch-on dates for the Christmas lights in Windsor and Eton have been announced along with a range of festive events.
Paul Roach, Windsor and Eton town manager, confirmed the dates at the Royal Borough's visitor management forum, held on Thursday.
The Windsor Christmas lights switch-on, outside Windsor Castle, will take place on November 15 while the Eton Christmas lights switch-on will take place on November 20.
The annual reindeer parade will take place in Windsor town centre on December 6 and an ice rink will be erected in Alexandra Gardens, if a planning application is permitted.
There will also be living advent calendar events in different locations across Windsor and Eton and there will be a range of Christmas markets throughout December.
Speaking at the meeting, held at Royal Windsor Racecourse, in Maidenhead Road, Mr Roach said: "This year we are focusing on our late night trade.
"We hope shops will stick to their word and stay open later and in return we will provide a whole range of activities, live music, markets and children's events."
