Two stamp collecting clubs are joining forces in an attempt to reignite interest in the hobby.
The Maidenhead and District Philatelic Society and the Windsor and District Philatelic Society will come together to offer afternoon meets alongside those held in the evenings.
The Maidenhead Conservative Club will host gatherings on Wednesday, October 15, November 19 and December 17, all between 2-4pm.
Don Else, who has been a member of the Maidenhead club since 1966, said: "Like a lot of clubs where older people run them, numbers are diminishing and no youngsters are joining.
"In the evening we used to have about 40 but now we are lucky if we get 12 or 15.
"These will be informal meetings with some members displaying pages from their collections and in between there will be ample opportunity to buy, sell, swap or just chat.
"Collectors of all levels are welcome.
"It's very sociable. People will have a few laughs."
