Witnesses are being sought by police following a fatal crash in Windsor yesterday.

It took place at 3.10pm when a grey Ford Focus was travelling along Goslar Way from Slough towards Windsor.

It is thought that the driver, a 75-year-old man, may have suffered a medical episode, resulting in his vehicle colliding with a second car.

The driver died at the scene.

The female driver of the second car, a grey Vauxhall Meriva, sustained serious injuries and was taken to St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, where she continues to receive treatment.

A fire crew from Windsor came across the scene and stopped to help.

Goslar Way was partially closed while the scene was cleared.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information, please call police on 101.
