A fundraiser from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in Old Windsor is appealing for donations for the charity after the successful rehoming of three puppies.
Janet Brewer, new regional community fundraiser for Battersea, visited Jack Russells Corky and Buzz who, along with their brother Dusty, were found abandoned in a cardboard box in Slough.
All three pups were badly infested with fleas and worms and were taken to Battersea Old Windsor, in Priest Hill, where they received medical support and care.
All three puppies have made a full recovery and have been rehomed.
Janet, from Windsor, said: "Without the support of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, these lovely animals may not have survived.
"As a charity, we receive no government funding and rely heavily on the support of the local community to help us raise the £18.4m a year it costs to run the home."
Contact Janet at firstname.lastname@example.org 07590 173458 to make a donation.
