Chris Brown, the Royal Borough's town crier of two years, received the accolade at the annual Town Crier Competition in Hastings on Saturday, October 18.
The winning costume was made up of a purple and gold overcoat, made by David Coulthard of Tom Brown tailors in Eton and a tricorn hat, made by Doug Simpson, of Ascot Top Hats.
Chris, who was named the named the best town crier in 2013, said: "I was pretty certain I wasn't going to get that so for me to win the other piece of silverware was a very unexpected but wonderful delight."
