Chris Brown, the Royal Borough's town crier of two years, received the accolade at the annual Town Crier Competition in Hastings on Saturday, October 18.
The winning costume was made up of a purple and gold overcoat, made by David Coulthard of Tom Brown tailors in Eton and a tricorn hat, made by Doug Simpson, of Ascot Top Hats.
Chris, who was named the named the best town crier in 2013, said: "I was pretty certain I wasn't going to get that so for me to win the other piece of silverware was a very unexpected but wonderful delight."
An independent report into a Conservative councillor has found a breach of the Royal Borough’s code of conduct in a document seen by the Advertiser.
Further details have been revealed over how many trains will be running in Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead during planned rail strikes later this month.
