An oak tree was planted to mark the retirement of a long-serving teacher at Braywood School.
Angela Wilson worked at the school in Oakley Green Road for 25 years.
On Tuesday, she returned to the school to help plant an oak tree with the help of her former year two class.
The tree was chosen as the school has an oak-tree theme, with classes named after stages of a tree's life and a number of oak trees around their grounds.
Their school motto, which was said at the event, is 'from tiny acorns mighty oak trees grow, watered and nurtured by Gods love'.
