A 'requires improvement' grading has been given to children's centres in Windsor and Datchet by Ofsted.
The Windsor and Datchet Children's Centre Hub, based at Datchet St Mary's CE Primary School in The Green, was inspected in September and told its access to and quality of services and leadership required improvement.
The Royal Borough's children's services overview and scrutiny panel will meet to discuss the inspection on Tuesday.
A number of areas which needed improving were highlighted, including;
* A lack of clarity in information provided by Royal Borough.
* A low number of two-year-old children taking up the services.
* Insufficient staff to support number of services provided.
Inspectors made a number of recommendations to be implemented by the centres, including strengthening procedures for leadership, developing procedures to monitor performance and improving use of resources.
One of the actions to be carried out by the council to improve the hub is to introduce a wider review of Early Help provisions.
The review will address how many targeted families the service is reaching and will make recommendations about how many families the service would expect to reach.
Other items on the agenda include the children's services capital programme 2015/16.
The meeting will take place in the council chamber at Maidenhead Town Hall.
