A fundraiser from Windsor has been surprised by The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright on national television.
Kimberley Richardson, of Thames Street, appeared during the advertising break of ITV show Surprise Surprise tonight when she was presented with a bouquet of flowers by the current Strictly Come Dancing and former I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! competitor.
The 28-year-old, originally from Yorkshire, was nominated by her mum Karen to be surprised in the Interflora flower delivery company advert because of her fundraising efforts for a range of charities.
The trainee solicitor said: "When Mark came in the room, I thought somebody was being proposed to so when he said my name it was pure shock and disbelief and quite overwhelming.
"I was quite emotional to see my mum and sister Quiana and a handsome young man in the room but Mark made an effort with me and my law school friends and he was a really genuine person."
Kimberley has been a consistent fundraiser for Cancer Research UK and Brain Cancer Research, having taken part in a number of sky dives, climbed Mount Snowdon, as well as helped to organise two of three balls in London which raised more than £1m for Save the Children.
She became even more inspired to raise money for charity after her grandmother Jean, 75, passed away in August from a brain tumour.
"I have always believed that we shouldn't wait to be affected by cancer in order to contribute to funding the research but when my Nana died I thought it was even more important", said Kimberley.
"It was a little embarrassing appearing on national television but it was great fun. I feel totally undeserving but I'm grateful to my mum and my family for going out of their way for me."
