A man and a woman are being treated in hospital after a horse-drawn cart overturned in Old Windsor earlier today.
Police closed Ham Island at 11.45am whilst a man and woman were treated by the emergency services.
The woman was taken to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford with suspected back injuries whilst the man, who is in his 60’s, was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel with serious injuries.
They were both taken to hospital via air ambulance with police reopening the road at 1.45pm.
It is not known at the moment why the cart overturned.
