A reception held by Labour leader Ed Miliband at Westminster was attended by two 'unsung heroes of society' from Windsor.
Gill Labrum, headteacher of Windsor Girls' School, and Sarah Howard, Windsor Foodshare co-ordinator attended the reception on Wednesday, January 14, which celebrated people who had done something special in their community.
They were accompanied by Labour Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Windsor Fiona Dent, who sung their praises.
She said: "Gill has ensured that young people from a wide range of backgrounds can get a first class education in this traditional state school while Sarah has shone a light on the injustice of struggling families not having enough money to eat well and she has done something about it.
"These are the true unsung heroes of our society."
