A burglar will be sentenced after being convicted of breaking into the Windsor home of a woman in her seventies.
David McManus was found guilty of burglary at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday, January 23.
The 42-year-old walked into the flat in York Road on July 24 and was discovered by the owner in her bedroom.
When she challenged him, McManus made his excuses and left, leaving behind a plastic bag containing the woman's jewellery box.
McManus, of Suffolk Road, Maidenhead was remanded in custody to be sentenced at the same court on Thursday, February 19.
