British Historic Events is the theme for this year's Old Windsor Carnival.
The event, which is set to run on June 5, 6 and 7,will feature a donkey derby, football, fun fair and free firework display among the attractions.
The procession of carnival floats around the village will take place on Saturday, June 6.
This year's theme ties in with the 800th anniversary of the sealing of the Magna Carta by King John, which took place in Runnymede on June 15, 1215.
Organising committee member Marian Dalchow said this year they are hoping to run a bake-off competition.
