Organisers of Windsor Running Festival have announced Mars will be among its sponsors again this year.
The two-day event, which this year is on September 26-27, includes a 40m sprint for five to nine-year-olds, a 2.5 mile run, the Running4Women Windsor 10k and the Windsor Half Marathon.
Mars Chocolate UK’s ‘Mars in the Community’ programme has supported the Windsor Half Marathon for more than 20 years.
Claire Giacobbe, from the community relations department at Mars, said: “It’s a really inclusive event that brings the local community together and it’s great to see so many people out there getting active and having fun all for the benefit of some very worthy causes.
"Best of luck to all the runners this year!”
Other sponsors announced so far include the Royal Borough, everydayhero and Macdonald Windsor Hotel.
Registration is open. Visit www.runwindsor.com to sign up for the Windsor Half Marathon and the 2.5 mile Glynn Shefford Memorial Run and www.running4women.com to enter the 10k race.
