A selection of Windsor Castle and Royal Ascot-related items and the menu from Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding are among the items on sale at an auction next week.

Reeman Dansie Auctioneers & Valuers is holding a Royalty, Antiques & Fine Art Sale on Tuesday, February 17 and Wednesday, February 18.

The catalogue features more than 200 Royal lots, with items from the reigns of monarchs including King George IV, Queen Victoria, King George V and King Edward VIII.

There are also items from the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

Among them is a selection of ephemera related to Windsor Castle from the 1970s and 2000s, including blank menu cards and stationery, music programmes, a breakfast menu, photographs and items related to Royal Ascot, estimated at £50-70.

The menu from the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, which took place at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011, shows dishes served to guests included salmon and crab, organic lamb, spring vegetables from Highgrove and 'Berkshire honey ice cream'. It is part of lot 178 and has a £300-500 estimate.

Other lots include photographs of Queen Victoria, a handwritten letter from the Duke of Wellington from Windsor Castle in 1840, and a signed portrait photograph of Diana, Princess of Wales.

Reeman Dansie was established in 1881 and is based in Severalls Business Park, Colchester.

The sale will start at 10am each day.

There are pre-sale viewings on Saturday from 9am-1pm, Monday from 9am-6pm and on the sale mornings from 9am.
