A young Windsor shop owner is hoping his new barbershop will be a cut above the rest.
Murray Greenan, 18, plans to open his Headcase Barbers store on Saturday, February 21.
The barbershop is part of the Headcase Barbers franchise, founded by Martin and Ollie Nobbs. And Murray is hoping he can provide a barbershop with a difference to the Windsor public.
“I want to make it the most inviting atmosphere I can and create a shop that people will want to tell their friends about,” said Murray.
The 18-year-old is hoping to provide a free beer for customers as well as letting them take pictures of their visits with the shop’s Polaroid camera.
Murray says he chose the Headcase Barbers franchise as they offered ‘the financial support from a brand that works’.
“It’s an easy way for you to get your own barbershop but they still allow you to do what you want with it,” he added.
Murray said he expected haircuts to cost around £17 but military discount will be offered and some deals will be made available to students.
