A new chief executive officer has been chosen for a Windsor-based charity.
Thames Hospice has announced Debbie Raven will be the new CEO, taking over from retiring Jacqueline Clark, who has led the charity for the last six years.
Debbie joined the charity, which has its inpatients unit in Hatch Lane, two years ago as a director of patient and family services.
“I look forward to taking over the helm of such an established and successful local charity with an incredibly bright future," she said.
"I am humbled by the dedication of our team and proud to be leading an organisation where expert care and everyday kindness is at the heart of everything we do."
Debbie, who has more than 28 years nursing experience, has also held a number of senior management positions in both the NHS and independent healthcare sector.
Jacqueline congratulated Debbie on her appointment.
“It has been a real privilege to work for an organisation whose staff make such a difference to the lives of patients and their families who are facing the end of life," she added.
Debbie will take over as CEO on March 16.
