A call for teams to don their swimming gear and make a splash for charity has been made by the Windsor Lions Club.
The group is holding its annual swimathon, The Big Splash, on May 17 at Windsor Leisure Centre in Stovell Road.
More than 20 teams have entered and organisers are hoping at least 60 will take part.
The event involves teams of up to eight sponsored swimmers taking it in turns to swim for 55 minutes.
The event has raised more than £140,000 since it began in 1997 and last year's swimathon alone raised more than £16,000.
Event organiser Mike Sells from the club said he is thrilled by the response so far.
"This really is a great opportunity for local organisations which need to raise funds to enter a swimming team and reap 100 per cent of the sponsorship money they attract," he said.
Contact Mike Sells on 0845 833 4749 or m.sells@indecsgroup.co.uk to take part. Visit www.windsorlions.co.uk for details.
