A greyhound that is petrified of going outside will face his fears by taking part in Battersea Old Windsor's Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 5.
Four-year-old Patch, who has been at the dogs and cats home in Priest Hill for 200 days, has put his racing days behind him and is now looking for a family.
“We hope we can work on his fear of being outside and help him find a forever home soon,” said Hannah Gee, team leader at Battersea Old Windsor.
“We feel that once he's in the right environment with patient and understanding owners, he'll start to come out of himself and prove to be a loving and loyal pet.”
The family event is taking place at Battersea Old Windsor from 10.30am until 3.30pm.
