Blooming rhododendrons from The Savill and Valley Gardens in Windsor Great Park topped their classes at a Devon show.
The top flower from The Crown Estate at the Main Rhododendron Show held in the RHS Garden Rosemoor on April 25-26 was the Rhododendron roxieanum var. oreonastes.
It took the Roza Stevenson Challenge Cup for the best spray, won best in class, and was also awarded second best bloom in the show.
Harvey Stephens, head of The Savill Garden, said: “The competition was tough and we are delighted with our performance at the show.
"The spring flower displays are fantastic in The Savill and Valley Gardens, and it was a great pleasure for the garden department to select the competition blooms."
