Pupils from Hilltop First School were ‘udderly’ amazed by a static cow which visited them.
Buttercup was brought to the school in Clewer Hill Road by the Newbury and District Agricultural Society.
Children from across the school were taught about the journey of milk from the cow to their cereal at home. Younger pupils learnt about where cows live and what they eat.
“There was a buzz around school the whole day,” said teacher Ruth Doyle.
“The children were talking about it the whole day and have been throughout the whole week as well.”
Buttercup visited the school on Thursday, May 7.
