An awards evening honouring volunteers who have dedicated their lives to scouting in Windsor took place on Monday.
It was hosted by Windsor and Eton district scout president Mike Scott and Lady Palmer, with the awards presented by scout district commissioner David Smith.
Jenny Gudgeon received The Silver Wolf, the highest award handed out by the Scout Association to volunteers.
She started in 1961 and was district commissioner for Windsor and Eton scouts for 10 years from 1993 to 2003. Peter Archibald, leader of the Central Windsor scout group, received an Award for Merit.
Both Jo Strickland, treasurer of the 2nd Datchet scout group, and Gary Barnett, cub leader at the 1st Datchet scout group, picked up the Chief Scouts Commendation.
Long service awards were given to Christine Rose, Rupert Allison and Paul West who have all served for more than 20 years.
